During his four years in PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ömer mainly specialized in production companies . In this process he worked in special projects (corporate finance and due diligence reports) besides carrying out audit work. Some of the companies that Ömer visited during his career in PricewaterhouseCoopers are Eczacibasi Ilaç, Eczacibasi Yapi, Baxter, Sabanci Holding, Sümer Holding, Izsu, Ciba.

In Alfa Securities Ömer managed corporate finance projects (IPO and M&A ?s). Besides that he also prepared research reports for companies active in the automotive sector, building materials sector (cement, sanitaryware, ceramics) and pharmaceuticals sector.

During his 9 years in the Koç Group, Ömer managed business development and strategic restructuring projects as well as various reportings including management reporting for Foreign Trade Group Companies, Corporate Communications Group Companies (central purchasing company) and Tourism Group Companies (Divan and Setur). Besides these Business Units within the Koç Group he led and managed projects to enter new business lines such as logistics while creating joint ventures with foreign companies as well as acquisition of domestic companies.

Ömer also took part in long term projects in Hong Kong and mainland China for the expansion of the Koç Group in the Far East. Regarding non corporate issues Ömer monitored foreign investments and projects of the Family under a "Family Office” principle. During his last year in the Group Ömer transferred to Finance Business Unit of Koç Holding as the finance manager responsible for the Energy Group (Tüpras,Aygaz, Opet etc.), IT and Corporate Communications Group (Koç Sistem, Koçnet, Zer etc.) and the Foreign Trade & Tourism Group (Ram, Divan, Setur etc.).

Having joined Cerebra in 2009 as the partner responsible for Corporate Finance, Ömer renders services for Corporate Finance, Strategic Planning, Investment Consultancy and Business Development projects.
