Turkey, as the 17th largest economy in the world will follow the same path as followed by the largest economies in the world. In accordance with the New Turkish Commercial Code certain entities based on their sizes (ASs and LSs) will be required to prepare their financial statements by applying Turkish Accounting Standards (TAS) which is equivalent of IFRS.
